However, those workers who made the popular cookies are upset about new proposals introduced the Nabisco’s parent company, Mondelēz International, Inc., and are on strike. The strikes were organized by Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers' International Union, and those workers are calling out problems such as 12-hour work shifts, cutting overtime and elimination of union pension contributions.
BCTGM President Keith Bragg, who has been a Nabisco employee for 45 years, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to talk about the strike.
