In Tennessee, Pervis Payne has been on death row for over three decades for a murder he says he did not commit. He was found guilty by an almost all-white jury despite having no motive for the crime, no prior criminal record, and living with a severe intellectual disability. Pervis was convicted and sentenced to death.
His sister, Rolanda Holman, Andre Johnson, organizer of the "Free Pervis Rallies” and his attorney Kelley Henry join Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss the ongoing efforts to free Payne.
