A Facebook spokesperson apologized for the inconvenience and says they’re “working to get things back to normal.” Digital lifestyle expert says it’s not normal for the platforms to be down, but it does shed a light on instances where one company, in this case Facebook, owns multiple products. It's unknown at this time whether the outage is an attack or has anything to do with the recent “60 Minutes” report in which a whistleblower who leaked thousands of Facebook documents to the Wall Street Journal was revealed.
