Mass vaccination clinics could make a comeback as the demand for boosters grows, especially as more boosters get authorized. Hebert said we really have it in our control to break free from COVID-19 if people follow necessary precautions and procedures. In terms of a new study which found 37% of patients experience long-COVID, or lingering symptoms, Hebert said he thinks an entire study of COVID long haulers is going to be needed for the next 20 to 30 years. He pointed out that there is a neurological involvement, which makes it a bit difficult.
