7:45Now PlayingFormer President Bill Clinton, 75, was rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center three days ago and was diagnosed with a non-COVID related illness.
According to an official statement, his spokesperson says President Clinton "is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses and staff providing him with excellent care."
He has a history of health problems as he had heart bypass surgery in 2004 and had two stents inserted in 2010. The former president's doctors say he could be released as soon as today but would stay on oral antibiotics.
“Start Your Day” hosts Sharon Reed and Mike Hill share their thoughts about the 42nd president’s hospitalization.
