11:28Now Playing“Black News Tonight” host Marc Lamont Hill has a lot to cover tonight, including a lawsuit against Bill Cosby by actress Lili Bernard, alleging he raped and drugged her in August of 1990.
The Food and Drug Administration had a panel voting Friday, where vaccine advisers voted to recommend the Johnson & Johnson booster shot at least two months after the first dose. The pharmaceutical company says studies show taking the booster at two, six or eight months can bring the vaccine’s effectiveness up to 94%.
Texas’ super restrictive abortion law isn’t going into effect without a fight, because the Department of Justice plans to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to step in and block it. Also, Black immigration advocacy groups have sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security, calling out ICE and accusing them of torturing four Cameroon migrants and a Ugandan during mass deportations last year.
