BNC correspondent Jenyne Donaldson joins “BNC Live” host Laverne McGee from Brunswick, where she was able to speak with Arbery’s father, aunt and uncle.
Donaldson shares the family pain and anger, adding that Arbery’s death “fractured” and “broke them.” The family wants peace and for them, the first step is ensuring this case creates change.
“I want to see this racist stuff go, and I want to see Black people get treated equal by the justice system,” said Marcus Arbery Sr. “I just want to see Black people always be treated fairly.”
