Both sides are already getting a warning from the judge to speed things up. Today, attorneys were slowly working through a pool of 1,000 prospective jurors to get 16 people, 12 jurors and 4 alternates, who can be fair and impartial in this high-profile case.
With the issue of race emerging as the central theme for most of the questions, both the defense and prosecution are finding it difficult to get to number 16.
