The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board was scheduled to hear his request for clemency on Oct. 26, but it was re-scheduled to Nov. 1. Jones was convicted of murder for the 1999 shooting death of a businessman.
The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse will begin on Nov. 1 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. On Oct. 25, a judge ruled that his defense team can introduce video of police thanking Rittenhouse for protecting city businesses during last summer’s protests.
