Officials say the building collapsed in a wealthy neighborhood in the west African nation shortly after 2 p.m. local time.
In Ethiopia, the country is dealing with its own turmoil. The Ethiopian central government accuses Tigray People’s Liberation Front of killing 100 youths in one of two towns the Tigrayan soldiers captured over the weekend.
In a tweet, Ethiopia’s government posted a statement that reads in part, “The international community should not turn a blind eye to such atrocities.”
