10:20Now PlayingIsaiah Andrews is now a free man after spending 45 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
The 83-year-old was found guilty of murdering his wife back in 1974 and sentenced to life in prison. He spent nearly five decades there, until the Ohio Innocence Project took his case. With their help, Andrews got a new trial and last week a new jury found him not guilty, even though almost all the original witnesses have long since passed away.
Brian Howe, staff attorney for the Ohio Innocence Project, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss Andrews’ long road to freedom.
All this and more on “Making the Case.”
