The governor’s decision to follow the recommendation of his own parole board, at least in part, came less than four hours before Jones was scheduled to be executed. For the first time in more than 20 years, he was able to touch his loved ones.
Jones’ sister, Antoinette Jones, joins Yodit Tewolde by phone on “Making the Case” to discuss that moment of touching him for the first time in over 20 years.
