Dec 6, 20213:39Now PlayingA San Diego man is suing under the CROWN Act which stands for Creating a Respectful Open World for Natural hair. The defendant is Encore Global and they issued a statement that said,” they regret any miscommunication this may have cause.”
BNC host Shannon LaNier believes that there wasn’t any miscommunication. The San Diego man claims he was denied a job after he refused to cut his hair. LaNier talks about how Encore Global stance was that if you don’t cut your hair, you won’t be hire at the company and the host doesn’t think there was miscommunication because it’s very cut and dry.
