The veteran officer fatally shot 20-year-old Daunte Wright when she pulled the trigger while yelling "Taser!" during a traffic stop-turned-arrest. Potter said she pulled the wrong gun. She is currently charged with first and second-degree manslaughter.
Chief legal correspondent Laura Mcneal joined “BNC Live” to discuss the opening statements of both the prosecution and defense teams, and how these opening moments could potentially impact the trial.
