10:30Now PlayingFormer Brooklyn Center police officer Kim Potter has been convicted on all charges.
The 26-year veteran was found guilty of first-degree and second-degree manslaughter for shooting and killing Daunte Wright during a traffic stop in April.
She will be facing sentencing on Feb. 18. Potter was removed from the court in handcuffs, and a crowd outside the courthouse was celebrating the verdict.
It was a verdict that shocked some people who thought it would end in a hung jury.
Former prosecutor Marie Pereira joins guest host Kelly Wright on “BNC Live” to discuss the verdict and the prosecution of this case.
