A deadly police shooting in Tennessee is bringing a community together in another familiar call for justice and accountability.
Thirty-seven-year-old Landon Eastep, a white man, was sitting on an interstate guardrail in Nashville last Thursday when a Tennessee highway patrol officer stopped and offered him a ride.
After a half-hour standoff, he was dead. The preliminary investigation revealed all nine officers fired on Eastep when he adjusted his stance and pulled something out of his pocket, an object that was later discovered not to be a gun.
