Idiot Exposes Himself at the Library and Gets Arrested AGAIN

Prior Arrest

On June 22, 2026, Sergeant Christopher Forcenito and Patrolmen Michael McCarthy, Benero Bernal, and Colin Scanlon were dispatched to the Westfield Public Library (550 East Broad Street) on a report of a male who was pleasuring himself on the property. Sergeant Forcenito located the suspect laying down outside near a side entrance. Based on prior interactions, he immediately identified him as Matthew Sosnowski. Patrolman Scanlon walked into the library and made contact with Victoria Pawlicki, a librarian who observed Matthew laying on he ground with his pants down as he was pleasuring himself.

Based on multiple witness accounts of what he was doing, the officers concluded that Matthew had committed a crime and placed him under arrest. He was handcuffed, searched, and transported to the Westfield Police Department for further processing. He was also trespassed from library premises.

Matthew was charged with Lewdness (victim less than 13 years of age) pursuant to 2C:14-4B(1) and lodged in the Essex County Correctional Facility. As of August 7, 2026, he remains lodged in jail as his criminal charges from multiple prior incidents are still pending in court.

-Contempt – violating a domestic violence restraining order (2C:29-9B(2)) in Westfield, NJ on February 12, 2026

-Criminal trespass (2C:18-3B ) in Seaside Heights, NJ on December 30, 2025

-Shoplifting (2C:20-11B(1)) in Garwood, NJ on December 7, 2025

-Contempt – violating a domestic violence restraining order (2C:29-9B(2)) in Westfield, NJ on February 5, 2021

-Simple assault (2C:12-1A(1) ), harassment (2C:33-4B), and unlawful possession of a weapon (2C:39-5D) in Westfield, NJ on January 31, 2021
