Ahead of the 100th anniversary of World War I next year, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard introduced legislation today to rehabilitate memorials to that war in Hawaii and across 47 other states. The proposed bill authorizes $50 million in grants for the project. Hawaii is home to one eligible memorial—the Waikiki Natatorium.
