1:52Now PlayingSen. Thom Tillis said Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was "part of a new strategy that's developed here " to stop judicial nominees.
"This is not advise and consent, this is search and destroy," Tillis said.
"This is the playbook, this is the way we're going to run this committee from this point forward?" Tillis asked, saying that the committee had plenty of time to question Kavanaugh about the sexual assault allegation against him privately.
Tillis said he intended to vote for Kavanaugh.
