Today we are likely to hear the defense's motion to dismiss counts 1 and 3, based on juror affidavits that contend the jury had unanimously agreed Karen was not guilty of those charges and only hung on count 2. I'm not expecting the motion to be granted, so the probable outcome of today's hearing will be a new trial date to go through this prosecution all over again.
