7:46Now PlayingRapper Snoop Dogg recently released a music video on the “BADBADNOTGOOD” YouTube channel featuring himself symbolically assassinating Donald Trump. Or at least a clown lookalike version of him. Snoop Dogg is no stranger to violence, as it has permeated has music for many years on and off. He also beat a murder case in the 1990s during the height of his career over at Deathrow Records headed up by the now-incarcerated Suge Knight. Although it seems like Snoop has moved away from the violent content in his music by becoming more of a Hollywood personality on shows like “Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party,” he may feel the need to virtue signal to Hollywood liberals by embracing his past image. Cooking brownies with Martha Stewart and staying away from political hate on Donald Trump may not be satisfactory for his Los Angeles colleagues.
An important point to make - Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg have been featured in at least one Hollywood production recently. Maybe about two years ago, they were pictured together smiling and shaking hands. So the question must be asked… “what changed”? Why is it now that Trump is all of a sudden a bad person that Snoop wants to shoot? Why did Snoop call any black entertainers who wanted to perform at the Trump inauguration “uncle tom” or “coon?” Snoop has embraced his former gangbanger personal at age 45 to appease his mostly white liberal counterparts in Hollywood. A shame, really. But it just points to how the individual is recognized in uber liberal spaces. Nothing more than a means to an end.
