Tomi Lahren Being Suspended From The Blaze = Colin Moriarty Being "Kicked Out" Of Kinda Funny

Tomi Lahren has recently been suspended from her show “Tomi” on Glenn Beck’s “The Blaze” Network TV due in part to her comments about being pro-choice on “The View.” There has also been rumors of other employees at The Blaze being upset with Tomi in general. Comments about her “angry” style have been mentioned as points of contention. Not to mention The Blaze and their alleged financial problems which may contribute to a strain on their ability to stay fully staffed to run a proper operation. With all of that going on in the background, it’s easy to see why the pro-choice comments coming from a conservative TV show host on a conservative TV network in that of the Blaze would be the final straw to break the proverbial camel’s back.

Miss Lahren’s situation can be directly compared to that of Colin Moriarty formerly of Kinda Funny/ Kinda Funny Games. Colin Moriarty was the head of Kinda Funny alongside Greg Miller. Kinda Funny was essentially a videogames podcast/ volume content channel featuring random topics from an army of Patreon supporters. So many Patreon supporters they made around $50k per month. Colin Moriarty left this skyrocketing company behind him after a tweet he posted on women’s day surfaced in which he said “Ah, peace and quiet #ADayWithoutAWoman.” It was a clear joke, but Kinda Funny co-founder Greg Miller decided to write a small op-ed apologizing for it on Twitter, caving in to the PC left which exists in their home base of San Francisco. That type of contention had been happening behind the scenes for quite a while over at Kinda Funny… so Colin decided to resign.

The parallels between the two individuals is plain to see. Tomi Lahren had a contentious relationship with her co-workers because of her behavior and views which eventually boiled over and caused her to be suspended for at least one week, and maybe fired or forced to resign soon afterwards. Colin Moriarty had a contentious relationship with his co-workers because of his views on politics which were more centrist rather than San Francisco uber-leftist, so he decided (or was forced to) resign. The PC narrative is not surprising when it comes from the left as it was in Colin’s case. But it’s a bit more surprising coming from the right as it was in Tomi’s case. The upside is that both of them will most certainly go on to do bigger and better things. The downside is those they left behind… will not.
