This documentary film is about long-haired boys.
Why do they insist on wearing their hair so long? And, incidentally, why are their elders so addicted to short-back-and-sides? Why, too, is authority up against boys with long hair? What does it say about the direction of modern society?
Taking part in Jill Craigie's documentary are some proud young sporters of long-hair; interior designer David Mlinaric, photographer Alan Ballard, mechanic Nicholas Charal and "way out" family man, Michael Rainey.
There are also contributions from an unnammed psychiatrist, author and social worker Rose Hacker, Antony Smythe - a member of the Council for Civil Liberties, and art historian James Laver.
