Last week it was announced that Michelle Obama will be entered into the National Women’s Hall of Fame. According to CBS News, the induction will take place in October, and she will be inducted alongside Octavia Butler, Judy Chicago, and more.
Chloe x Halle have made herstory as they announce their official partnership with Neutrogena. Not only are they the first sister spokespeople for Neutrogena, but the R&B sister duo are also the first musicians to represent the brand. In response to their achievement, Carrie Sullivan, the VP of Marketing at Neutrogena stated, “These are not celebrity faces or just pretty faces. Of course they are gorgeous, but in their own right. They really have a whole story to tell, and they live a whole life.”
The beauty queen is back at it again getting ready to launch Fenty Hair. Though the trademark is still in early phases, the line is said to possibly include shampoo, hair relaxing, straightening and waving stylers, bleach and hair color products, and even hair glitter. As of now, there isn’t a date as to when these products will launch.
“Saturdays” a single-camera comedy about a young girl with sickle cell and her competitive roller skating crew has been greenlit by Disney Channel, and a pilot has been ordered. Marsai Martin is slated to produce with her production company, Genius.
“Moneybagg Joe” was trending on Twitter last week after President Joe Biden signed a $1.9 Trillion Relief Bill, ushering a third round of stimulus checks sent to Americans. The bill includes that $1400 stimulus payment, $300 boost in weekly unemployment payments, an expansion of the child tax credit up to $3600 per child, $350 Billion in state and local aid, and more.
