After a year of being locked into our homes, we are finally opening up and getting used to the new normal. But how is that going to change business, and small businesses? How can you run a business in 2021?
Let David Grasso break it down for you.
Over the past year a lot of companies have had to shut down, and those who stuck around had to evolve quickly, and now we have new expectations for businesses. So for businesses that want to stay successful, listen up. You’re going to have to adjust the way you’re doing things.
Number One: Online Presence - More than ever it’s important to have an online presence, and companies are putting more time and resources into social media on a daily basis. So make sure you’re keeping up if you’re a business owner.
Number Two: Online Retailers - You have to have an accessible way online for the consumer to buy your products. As such, a lot of people have built their own websites, or utilized companies Etsy and Amazon, to make it that much more simple.
Number Three: Delivery Rules - The consumer now wants their products delivered to their house in the safest way possible. Food, grocery, retail, they all have to be contactless so that we feel safe when these products are delivered on our doorstep.
Number Four: Working Remotely - The traditional office space is now #cancelled! Everything’s virtual! Platforms like Zoom have helped us create virtual workspaces to keep people healthy and separated, and also discovered along the way that this is a lot cheaper than renting an office.
