Did you ever participate in the GameStop Short Squeeze? After this happens to GameStop (GME) the meme stocks and crypto craze of 2021 seems never ending. Here’s what Philip Michael has to say about this.
One thing that the GameStop Short Squeeze did was show the world how the stock market is tied to supply and demand trading. Typically supply and demand trading is based on how the market is doing, but in some cases like GameStop Stock (GME), AMC Stock (AMC), and even Blackberry Stock (BB) for a short time.
This even includes Bitcoin and the current crypto craze of today. With Bitcoin and meme stocks you’re betting on the future and not the price of now, so the price can be propped up.
Is this healthy for our stock market and economy? What do you think? Why?
