America Is Already Great and Afroman Proved It

In 2022, seven armed deputies raided Afroman's home on suspicion of drug trafficking and kidnapping, found nothing, filed no charges — and one deputy allegedly got distracted by a lemon pound cake on the counter. When $400 went missing and his door was destroyed, Afroman did what any reasonable person with extensive home security footage would do: he made a whole album about it. The music videos went massively viral, the officers sued him for $3.9 million in 2023, and the trial that followed was somehow even more unhinged than the raid itself. His lawyer cited Cardi B's WAP during defense, a deputy on the stand couldn't confirm his wife wasn't sleeping with Afroman, and another officer wept hoping for sympathy but Afroman reminded the court she'd pointed an AR-15 at him in front of his kids. After all of that, Afroman was fully exonerated in a landmark First Amendment win.
