as posted by the channelDefense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Thursday the U.S. military is “locked and loaded,” warning Iran to cut a deal with the U.S. or face further military action.
“We are locked and loaded on your critical dual-use infrastructure, on your remaining power generation and on your energy industry,” he said during a Pentagon press briefing. “We’d rather not have to do it, but we’re ready to go at the command of our president and at the push of a button.”
Secretary Hegseth described the U.S. military blockade of Iranian ports as “the polite way that this can go” and urged Iran to cut a deal.
“If Iran chooses poorly, then they will face a blockade and bombs dropping on infrastructure, power and energy,” he said. “To Iran: choose wisely.”
