Today we're talking about the new Autochess game by Riot Games, Teamfight Tactics. Teamfight Tactics has exploded on the scene, getting the most views on Twitch for the first day of its release on the League of Legends Public Beta Client. TFT beat out Fortnite, League of Legends, and other popular games for the #1 position on Twitch day one.
I wanted to give some quick first impressions on this game before making another video when the game settles out. This game has good potential to dominate the Autochess category of games. Riot Games has moved incredibly fast to get this game out, and the game feels polished and fun to play.
It remains to be seen how successful Teamfight Tactics will be. But Riot has made a genius business play in getting people back on the League of Legends client. This move increases their value per customer, and people will surely engage more with the League of Legends brand as a result.
Overall a great move by Riot, a fun game, and I'm excited to cover this game more.
