I've talked about Twitch DMCA multiple times on other videos. The Twitch DMCA issue has been ongoing for several months. We made a few videos explaining DMCA and breaking down the situation. At the time of those videos, it wasn't a huge problem but it was something that all Twitch streamers should pay attention to.
Twitch has recently sent an email out to many partners and affiliates informing them that they have deleted some content which received DMCA violations. Twitch streamers now have days to fix the DMCA issues on their channel or potentially face permanent bans.
I want to convey the seriousness of this issue and say that DMCA is here and the problem is going to get worse. Streamers must act to protect their channels as soon as possible. Over the next few weeks I will be providing resources to protect streamers from DMCA, and to show what you can do, if you have to delete all your clips, and all your VODs.
