1:29Now PlayingYou can take care of your teeth every day and still feel like something is off.
That usually means the conversation needs to expand beyond hygiene.
The jaw does not function in isolation. It is part of a larger system that includes posture, breathing patterns, muscle balance, and how the tongue rests throughout the day. When those pieces are out of alignment, the effects often show up in the mouth first, whether that looks like grinding, tension, uneven wear, or changes in how your bite feels.
This is why some patterns continue even when surface habits are consistent. The driver is not always what you are doing to your teeth, but how your body is positioning and supporting them.
These are the kinds of connections I break down in my weekly newsletter so you can understand what is happening beneath the surface and what to actually do about it.
