1:46Now PlayingThat bright pink toothpaste might look fun… but color is not what I’m looking for when it comes to something you’re using every single day.
Toothpaste is one of the few products that goes directly into your mouth, touches your tissues, and gets absorbed in small amounts over time. That makes the ingredient list a lot more important than the marketing or aesthetic.
Many formulas are built around strong flavors, foaming agents, and abrasive ingredients that create a certain experience, but that does not always translate to long-term support for your enamel or gums. In some cases, they can be overly harsh or disrupt the balance you’re trying to maintain.
A more supportive approach is choosing toothpaste that focuses on gentle cleaning, balanced ingredients, and protecting the oral environment rather than overpowering it.
What you use twice a day adds up. Choosing the right foundation matters.
