- Importance of Sleep for ADHD and Stress:
ADHD and Anxiety both contribute to disturbed sleep, but disrupted sleep itself impairs executive functions of attention, sustained concentration, and emotional regulation.
- Faking ADHD - A Real Problem or Fake News?:
An ADHD diagnosis can provide access to accommodations and to stimulant medications. Numerous articles have been written on the topic, even if under diagnosis of ADHD remains a larger problem than over diagnosis.
- Suicide and ADHD:
ADHD substantially increases the risk of early death, many of which are from suicide. In part this is because ADHD has a strong association with depression. But most research neglects that impulsivity is often a crucial component of suicide, and why those with ADHD are at risk.
