The couple says they had been enjoying their cruise when the captain of their ship ordered all passengers to their cabins. A few days later, they were transferred to another ship, and things got worse.

“We were totally locked down,” says Ashock, claiming that the air conditioning in their cabin failed, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the temperature controls in their shower malfunctioned, making it difficult for them to bathe.

“Every day got worse and worse,” adds Dinu.
With four dead, 37 sick crew members, and upward of 200 of their fellow passengers reportedly experiencing flu-like symptoms, the couple says the vessel was turned away by-port-after-port, leaving nearly everyone on the ship confined to quarters for nearly two weeks.
Today, the couple is off the ship and in quarantine in Toronto. What do they say was the most terrifying part of their time at sea?
