The women say they were supposed to have been back home by now, but, like thousands of American tourists who are currently stranded abroad, they haven’t been able to secure a return flight to the United States.

Katherine says there is one option currently available to them, which would be to take a flight coordinated by the U.S. government. However, she claims, instead of the few hundred dollars they previously paid for a commercial flight to India, this option could cost thousands.

“We have a lady that got home - and when she got home – the government gave her the bill, and it was $3,000, and they’re going to keep her passport if she doesn’t ante up,” claims Katherine in the video above.
