Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-Calif.) told Drop Site that negotiations to end the war in Sudan are ongoing but argued there will be no agreement “until the Trump administration actually holds the UAE accountable for funding and enabling this genocide, and arming this genocide.”

Noting the UAE crypto investment into his family venture, Jacobs said Trump is “being paid off by the Emiratis” and is unwilling to confront their role.

She added that he is “not looking out for what’s best for the American people,” but instead “what’s best for his pocketbook, his family and his billionaire friends.”
