0:34Now PlayingUpdating the investigation of the fire at the Evans Grain/Old Sugar Factory on April 27th, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have identified 2 male juveniles and 1 female juvenile that were involved in starting the fire. The juveniles had been playing with a lighter in the area that resulted in the building catching fire. This case has been sent to the Bonneville County Prosecutor’s Office for review of possible charges at this time.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind parents to talk to their kids about the dangers and consequences of playing with fire and trespassing on private property, especially as we approach the dry season and fire danger is escalated.
