0:57Now PlayingREXBURG — The pilot of a stunt plane was forced to make an emergency landing in a Madison County field after his engine stopped working Friday afternoon.
The pilot, whose name has not been released, walked away without any major injuries, according to witnesses.
The plane was in the air with several other planes practicing for the Legacy Flight Museum air show.
EastIdahoNews.com reporter Stephan Rockefeller was in another plane working on a story when the emergency happened.
“The pilot came on the radio and said he was going down,” Rockefeller says. “It went down in a field and emergency crews are currently responding.”
The aircraft was a red bi-wing stunt plane.
