Republican Leaders Do Nothing About Greene And Gosar Speaking At White Nationalist Event

Four days after Republican Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar gave speeches at a white nationalist event in Florida, Republican leaders have finally decided to say something about it. The leaders of the Party offered a very weak condemnation of the duo, but nothing else. These rebukes mean absolutely nothing, and they will probably result in MORE support for the pair. Four days after Republican representatives, Marjorie Taylor green and Paul Gosar spoke at a white nationalist conference down in Florida. Over the weekend. Gosar, I believe appeared, uh, via video. He wasn't there in person, Marjorie Taylor green was, and four days after those speeches took place and had been widely reported on being there at the white nationalist conference. Finally, Republican leaders decided, uh, we better say something about this and say how much we do not like it. And who boy did they let it fly? Right. Super tough talk from Republicans like, uh, uh, Mitch McConnell, who said there's no place in the Republican party for white supremacists or antisemitism. Ouch. And then of course, there's Kevin McCarthy, who said to me it was appalling and wrong. There's no place in our party for this. The party should not be Associa. Anytime, any place with somebody who is antisemitic, this is unacceptable. Ooh, knockout punch. Right? What about G O P chairwoman? Ron Romney McDaniel. Oh, she had some words too. White supremacy. neo-Nazi hate speech and bigotry are disgusting. They have no place or home in our party. Wow. So you could only imagine right after these very strong statements saying they have no place in our party, how amazing it was when these leaders then came out and officially kicked Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor green out of the Republican party,

Except that didn't happen because apparently all of those things they say have no home in the Republican party do in fact, have a home in the Republican party and with Gosar, this isn't the first time he's had, you know, problems with being tied to white nationalists. Marjorie Taylor green has also many times been photographed with them, including with Nick Fuentez, who introduced her during Saturday speech, who is a noted white nationalist and Holocaust denier. And I say that because Marjorie Taylor green, in spite of being introduced by him in spite of being photographed with him on multiple different occasions over the years still says, I don't know who the guy is. I don't know what his beliefs are. I don't believe what he believes.

And this is the best we get from the Republican party. Oh, we don't like those things. All right, let's get the hell outta here. We're done for the day. That's what they're doing. They get to come out, make their little flashy statements that, oh, we hate that kind of hate anything else? Easy anything. Okay, good. I'm done. I'm gonna go, uh, have a caucus here and, and not address any of these members and their horrible behavior. The Republican party, the official real big Republican party C centered Liz Channey and Adam Kesinger because they're a part of the January 6th committee. Now we have two members who spoke at a white nationalist rally and the party. You're not gonna CENS them. Not that censoring even really does anything, but you just get, say, nah, screw it. This is okay. Being against Donald Trump. Not okay. Being buddy, buddy with white nationalists.

We're cool with that. Oh, we might say we're not of course, but we're literally gonna do nothing. Even though we do have the power to do things, we're just gonna let it go. Technically, Kevin McCarthy would have the ability to expel these members from Congress. All he would have to do is go to the Democrats and say, okay, you know what? Yay, you win this issue. Let's vote to kick these out. I can whip up enough Republicans to get us over the threshold, to vote these guys out and bar them from office. Actually it wouldn't bar them from office in the future. Just bar them from the rest of their terms. So he could do that. The Republican party could center them. Really. The only one who can't do anything about it is Mitch McConnell, right? Because these are house members. So it would be Kevin McCarthy, they're Republicans.

So it would be Ronna McDaniel. And they're doing nothing again. Literally doing nothing other than, oh, we've got some strong words for you and that'll, that'll show you until it happens again. And then you come back out with your strong words and you do nothing about it because those things do have a home in the Republican party.
