Trump Tries To Convince Everyone That His Georgia Rally Wasn't A Pathetic Failure

Donald Trump is desperately trying to convince America that his rally this past weekend in Georgia wasn't a complete failure, and several days later he is STILL telling everyone that it was one of the biggest crowds that city (Commerce, Georgia) has ever seen. So Donald Trump held a rally this past weekend in commerce, Georgia. And wouldn't, you know, it, the man still won't shut up about the crowd size. He, and of course his spokesperson, Liz Harrington have been doing what is basically amounting to damage control in the days since the rally, because they're trying to convince us that there were between, excuse me, 25 and 35,000 people at that rally be a lot of people, right? Especially for a tiny town that nobody'd ever heard of unless you lived there, commerce, Georgia. Okay. It's not exactly in Atlanta or a Savannah or any other place you had ever heard of no offense to people that live in commerce. I live in a place nobody's ever heard of either, but 25, 30 5,000 people, eh, probably not. And we, we can assume that based on the photographs, the videos, and of course the reporters who were there at the rally that said that at most, you probably had about 5,000 people there.

The photographs and the videos showed lots of empty seats. Everybody kind of spread out a little bit. There was a lot of room for more people to show up. And that was one of the biggest takeaways from that rally. So of course, Donald Trump who believes nothing more than size matters has been out there along with his spokesperson. Liz Harrington on Twitter, trying to convince us that, oh no, these people are lying. They're all fake news. The place was packed. We had 25, 30 5,000 people in this arena, but you didn't, people lie photographs. On the other hand, it's a lot harder to lie about those, right? We have the evidence, it was a sparsely attended rally because people just didn't give a crap what Donald Trump had to say and even bringing in the big, heavy hitters, right? He had Herschel Walker. He had Matt gates. He had Marjorie Taylor green, even then Donald Trump still couldn't, you know, draw out the right ring, crazies like he used to.

In fact, according to these estimates, if they are correct about 5,000 people, this would be one of Donald Trump's smallest rallies ever, ver literally ever one of the smallest ones he has ever done. And for a guy who values his own self worth, based on that crowd size, that's gotta be a pretty big blow to the ego. Right? So that's what it is. But the big question of course is not how many people were there. It's why were so many empty seats, right? Why was it so poorly attended? And I think the answer is because to a degree, people are just sick of it. Even some of Donald Trump's most ardent supporters right now understand that. Okay. Yeah, we can go see him speak, but we know we're just gonna hear the same crap over and over. He's gonna and moan about the election.

He's gonna tell us, Joe Biden is incompetent. He's gonna go off on a couple of riffs on people that he's mad at. He's gonna attack the people who didn't overturn the election. He's gonna go after Mitch McConnell and wouldn't, you know what folks he did, all of those things, every one of 'em, because that's what he has done. Every time he's given a rally shown up for a speech or done an interview since leaving office. It's the greatest hits of Donald Trump. And they weren't even that good to begin with. So people are getting a little bit sick of it.

And I think there's another thing. I think the other part of it is that Donald Trump simply does not have the appeal that he thinks he does. You know, we talk all the time about Donald Trump's numbers and he, yes, his approval rating has gone up since he left office. That is actually very typical of former presidents. But when it comes down to it, those numbers, you know, a subset of a subset of a subset aren't as big in practice as people would think not to mention again, no offense to commerce, Georgia, you picked a very small area, an obscure area for people to go to, you know, why don't you do it in Dallas? Why, why don't you do another one in Orlando? Hell, why didn't you do it in Atlanta? If you wanted to keep it in Georgia, like there's heavily populated areas where he could have done this to draw in more people, but he didn't because Hmm, he's an idiot. But the big thing is that they had seats available.
