Kimmel tweeted that it was amazing watching Musk devolve into a "piece of sh*t" in real time on the social media site, a criticism that is as biting as it is accurate. So over the weekend, new Twitter owner, Elon Musk, decided to tweet out a conspiracy theory that somehow Paul Pelosi, the husband of, uh, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was violently attacked in his home this past week, that he was somehow drunk during the incident, and that it was a male prostitute that Paul Pelosi had allegedly hired that instigated and performed the attack. Now, this was retweeted, of course, by Elon Musk in response to something Hillary Clinton had tweeted. There's no evidence to suggest any of this is true. Elon Musk, of course, deleted the tweet, but not before late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, retweeted Elon Musk saying It has been interesting over the years to watch you blossom from the electric car guy into a fully formed piece of. And I think that that critique of Elon Musk could not have been more succinct and correct, because that is exactly what has apparently happened to Elon Musk.

Money, power, fame, all of that has apparently warped this man's view of not just the world, but of reality itself. He is an egotistical bastard that absolutely has no regard for the truth whatsoever. I mean, he tweeted out this article again from a conspiracy site, basically a newspaper that has been ranked by fact checkers as, uh, quite possibly as low as it gets. He deleted it because he understood, Oh, no, but the story was already trending because he had retweeted it. So even if Elon Musk deletes it, it's still out there in the ether, and people start to believe these idiotic ramblings of the moron who purchase Twitter, which of course is why it is important that people like Jimmy Kimmel, people with big followings and giant platforms call him out and let the public understand that, yeah, he's not just the electric car guy anymore.

He is in fact a piece of. He's not this lovable old billionaire trying to save the planet and make rocket ships. He doesn't like his workers having that kind of freedom and, you know, uh, work life balance, which is a very Republican thing to believe. He doesn't like taxes, that's for sure. He loves government handouts for his company, but not so much for the public. So I think he does hold a lot of Republican beliefs, but I think in terms of what he actually thinks with regard to politics itself, I don't think he even knows. I think he likes to be controversial. I think he likes to be the center of attention, even if it's negative attention, which could stem from, you know, possibly not getting enough attention as a child. I don't know. I'm not a psychologist, and I'm not here to psychoanalyze Elon Musk.

We have watched the de-evolution of Elon Musk in real time, and it is all culminated with Hitch. His purchase of Twitter, which has already seen the platform just cascade into hell with all the antisemitism, with all the racism, and of course, with even more conspiracy theories now being pushed by the owner of Twitter, if there is a silver lining to any of this, it's that corporations have noticed it as well. And some major corporations, including General Motors, have said that we're gonna take a break from Twitter, We're gonna wait and kind of see how things are gonna go before we resume advertising and stuff like that. So it's likely that Elon Musk and his extremist contrarian behavior is going to tank the platform, and it wouldn't be the first time in history that something like that has happened.
