4:20Now PlayingDuring a recent broadcast of his radio show, Fox News host Sean Hannity made a bold prediction about what, exactly, President Biden is going to be impeached for when Republicans take over the House. And, in true Hannity fashion, the reason that he gives is not only completely stupid, but it also isn't even a crime. Farron Cousins discusses Hannity's prediction and what could possibly happen.

During his radio program last week, in which for some reason he was interviewing former Fox News host, bill O'Reilly, current Fox News host, Sean Hannity brought up the fact that he has a, uh, pretty good prediction he thinks about how President Biden is going to be impeached by the Republicans when they retake the House of Representatives on January 3rd. Here is what Sean Hannity is predicting for everybody. When you look at this evidence, it seems overwhelming where this is going. I don't have the answer whether or not the money is influenced political decisions of Joe Biden, but we do know for sure that Joe Biden lied about talking with his son about these business dealings and that he was up to his eyeballs in it way more than he ever indicated it could be down the road of impeachment. That's my prediction for the year.
Interesting prediction. It's also completely wrong because you are an idiot. Joe Biden lied about these connections, okay? Assuming he lied about the connections, that's not an impeachable offense because he never lied under oath about it. So really doesn't matter, right? Presidents lie all the time, Democrats, mostly Republicans, they lie. Politicians lie, but as long as it's not under oath, you can be mad about it, but it's not a crime and therefore you cannot impeach him for it. At least not with good conscience. But Republicans have no conscience, so sure they'll throw that in as well. Second of all, let's assume for a second that everything that Sean Hannity is saying is correct, which it never is. So, you know, that's a big assumption to make. But anyway, bear with me. Even if Joe Biden was working hand in hand with his son as he secured contracts from these foreign governments, and even if Joe Biden was getting kickbacks from his son, you know, basically a finder's fee for setting up these meetings or for, you know, getting him in the door, even if all of that happened, guess what?
None of that is illegal because none of it took place while President Biden was vice president. It didn't take place while he was campaigning to be president and it didn't take place after he won the presidency and was sworn into office. It actually happened during that brief period of time, let's call it, you know, this area here where he was, none of those things. He had left office and he wasn't running for office. And that brief period of time, by the way, is when those business deals took place with Hunter Biden. So it wouldn't matter what Joe Biden did. You may think it's unethical, it's unfair, it's nepotism. Sure, I agree with you, but that is not illegal. Not even in
The slightest way. If President Biden had picked up the phone when he was just former Vice President Biden and said, hello, president of foreign country, give my son money. That's not illegal. That's not illegal. If he did that while he was president, hell yeah. If he did it while he was a candidate, hell yeah. If he did it while he was vice president, hell yeah. But none of that is illegal and none of that matters to the Republican party because I think Han's right, they're gonna try to impeach him for that and the public will learn the truth. Republicans will try to muddy the waters, but I think maybe the public's smart enough to see through it. But either way, if they impeach 'em or not, they have the numbers to impeach 'em in the house, obviously not the Senate. Um, they'll do it. And we just have to hope that the public is smart enough to understand that this is a total BS bogus piece of crap that Republicans are trying to ram down our throats.
