YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThis is my story. In the church world, we call these "testimonies," but "story" will suffice for now. Today, I wanted to share with you my story of trusting Jesus and how that has brought me to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, ministry, YouTube, and so much more. So many of you have been supporting this channel, and I wanted to take a moment to share with you a bit more about myself and how I've ended up where I am. My hope is that this video will encourage you as well as provide meaningful background to who I am as you watch my other videos. My story has deeply shaped how I see the world and my relationship with God. The truth is, none of us come to God as blank slates. Our personal stories and experiences shape our faith, and God meets us in the messy middle of it all. If you're wondering how to keep your faith when you grow up in the church, maybe my story will help. In this video I share how I nearly walked away from the faith and the church, and what ultimately kept me coming back. This is a story of great weakness and greater grace. I hope it inspires you to take your next step in your journey of following Jesus.
