1.) Vice President Mike Pence is in Poland for a conference on the Middle East peace and security. Pence will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and will visit the former Nazi German death camp of Auschwitz.
2.) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) plans to hold a vote on a "Green New Deal" to fight climate change. McConnell does not support that resolution that was introduced by Democrats Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA).
3.) A former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer is accused of spying for Iran. Monica Elfriede Witt who defected to Iran in 2013 is charged with espionage. She reportedly disclosed highly-classified information about a Pentagon program involving U.S. intelligence operations.
