1.) Two more Democrats have jumped into the 2020 presidential race. California Sen. Kamala Harris (D-NY) and Pete Buttigieg the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana. The 54-year-old Harris is the former Attorney General of California. Buttigieg is a 37-year-old Afghan war veteran and Harvard grad.
2.) Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is refusing to testify before Congress about the Trump administration's policy of separating migrant families at the border. HHS inspector general report released last week revealed that more than 2,700 children have been separated from their parents or guardians.
3.) For the first time since 2008, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case involving constitutional gun rights. The justices will review a New York City law that restricts residents who are licensed to own a gun to carry that gun outside city limits.
