A while ago I started working on a video critiquing Samuel Huntington and his Cultural Determinism. That being the idea that cultures are what drives all political development. I encountered a problem while writing the video. I read the comments under my videos, and realised that a lot of you do not know what the difference between an "institution" and a "culture" is. And understanding a critique of Cultural Determinism becomes somewhat difficult when you do not know the difference. So I made this brief, somewhat clumsily edited video to explain the difference. I hope it helps you understand the difference, and I can now continue the work on the video critiquing Huntington, that I hop0e to have finished within a week or two.
