Tyler Dazey was not present in the courtroom throughout his murder trial. He believed his mother was practicing witchcraft and was found without any clothes when he was arrested. The judge offered Dazey to come to the courthouse or listen via audiostream to hear the verdict, but he told jail staff he was "not interested."

Tyler Dazey allegedly told police that his mother was practicing witchcraft before murdering Jennifer and the family dog. Dazey could face up to life behind bars if convicted. The 28-year-old was deemed competent for trial after a series of evaluations.
