Labour's new administration has been hailed for its diversity and inclusivity. But what are some of the "diverse" ideas being included? Labour MP Dawn Butler published a weird poem, read in a voice that sounds like a haunted NHS robocall, claiming that she's one of the "chosen ones" because of her skin colour.
If a white politician said this, they'd be jailed.
She claims that she's one of the first ones because she's African (she was born in the UK to Jamaican parents). It's slightly worrying that someone born here still doesn't identify primarily as British or put Britain first in her affections.
And it's doubly worrying that the obvious insanity of Critical Race Theory (which postulates that whiteness is evil, Europeans are colonial settlers, all Western wealth was stolen from Africa, the only thing stopping Wakanda from being a reality was evil white people) is being adopted without question by politicians.
