3:31Now PlayingFamous bicycle manufacturing company ‘Atlas’ has decided to stop its production due to the financial crunch. At least 1000 workers are now jobless. This unit is located at Ghaziabad's Sahibabad Industrial area. On Wednesday a notice of laying off all its employees was pasted on the gate. The company says they were facing financial crisis for the past sometime and the pandemic lockdown just increased the problems. The workers have protested against the decision. Earlier, two units in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana were shut in a similar pattern. This was the last manufacturing unit.
