6:15Now PlayingIn order to contain the pandemic spread, Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport has introduced a contactless journey for its passengers. This is done to ensure the safety of travellers and that they have minimum physical contact with anyone present in the airport. The staff and passengers are emphasizing more on contactless communications; however, the passengers have to still undergo several steps to get inside the airport. The first step is where a passenger will undergo a thermal scan. The passenger will be allowed entry once the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phone has the ‘you are safe’ message. CISF personnel will verify the boarding pass and photo identity through a magnified glass screen and give you access to the airport.
